Uniform Policy

Pride in Our Appearance

The school uniform fosters a sense of belonging, equality and pride in the Academy, and prepares students for learning. Brighton International Academy’s uniform requirements are consistent with the General Guidelines for Student Uniform issued by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Details of the uniform for each stage, including the physical education kit and where it may be obtained, are provided to families on enrolment and are available from the school office.

Expectations

Uniform Guidelines

Complete and correct

Students wear the full, correct uniform every school day.

Clean and tidy

Uniform should be clean, well-fitting and in good repair.

PE kit

The designated PE kit and suitable sports shoes are worn on physical education days.

Modesty and simplicity

Jewellery, accessories and hairstyles should be modest and consistent with school guidance.

Labelled items

All items should be clearly labelled with the student’s name.
