Admissions Policy

The Academy admits boys and girls from KG1 to Year 6. Placement in a year group is determined by the student’s date of birth in line with Ministry age regulations; please consult the age and year group guide.

Applicants sit entrance assessments in English and Mathematics and must achieve at least 60% in each. Assessment results, together with previous school reports, inform the admissions decision.

Offers are made subject to the availability of places in the relevant year group. Where a year group is full, eligible applicants may be placed on a waiting list.

An application is considered complete only when all required documents have been received. Students transferring from outside Qatar must provide report cards legalised through the required official channels, and all transferring students must provide fee clearance from their previous school.

In accordance with Ministry regulations, Arabic Language, Islamic Studies (for Muslim students) and Qatar History form part of every student’s programme; these subjects are compulsory for Arab nationals.

A place is confirmed on payment of the one-time registration fee. Tuition and additional fees are set out in the fee schedule approved by the Ministry.

Parents are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and complete. The Academy reserves the right to withdraw an offer where information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete.
