The Role of the Board
The Board of Trustees of Brighton International Academy oversees the Academy’s policies and strategic decisions and acts as guardian of its vision and mission. In fulfilling this responsibility, the Board:
- provides strategic direction for the Academy’s development;
- approves the guiding statements, policies and priorities through which the vision and mission are realised;
- supports the Principal and staff in achieving the Academy’s academic goals;
- exercises oversight of the Academy’s financial and educational stewardship; and
- promotes continuous improvement and the maintenance of a values-based learning environment.
