Developing the Whole Child
Brighton International Academy regards enrichment as an essential complement to classroom learning. Activities beyond the core curriculum allow students to discover new interests, develop talents, build friendships and practise the leadership, teamwork and resilience that our mission seeks to cultivate.
Enrichment is woven into the school week and the school year: through physical education and swimming, library and reading initiatives, practical science and computing, the Al Ghars Al Hasan values programme, exhibitions of students’ work, and the celebration of national and cultural occasions. The programme of activities is reviewed each year and communicated to parents through the Academy’s official channels.

Faith and Values
Al Ghars Al Hasan
Moral and spiritual education is at the heart of the Academy’s identity. Through the Al Ghars Al Hasan programme, Qur’an recitation and Islamic Studies, students learn the meaning and etiquette of worship and the values of respect, honesty, kindness and responsibility.
Congregational prayer in the school’s prayer hall gives these values daily, practical expression and strengthens a shared sense of belonging.
