Careers at Brighton

Founded in 2016–17, Brighton International Academy is a Cambridge-accredited, co-educational primary school in Al Mamoura, Doha, serving students from KG1 to Year 6. The Academy combines the Cambridge International Curriculum with Arabic, Islamic Education and Qatar History, within a community that places moral values alongside academic merit.

Teaching applicants are expected to hold a recognised degree and teaching qualification and to have experience of the British or Cambridge primary curriculum. Teachers of Arabic, Islamic Education and Qatar History should hold qualifications approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. All staff are expected to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to children’s wellbeing.

The Academy values its staff and supports their continuing professional development, collaboration and career progression in a supportive, collegial environment. Terms of employment are set out in each offer in accordance with the labour laws of the State of Qatar.

Brighton International Academy is committed to safeguarding children.
