A Message from Our Early Years Team
Welcome to the Early Years at Brighton International Academy. The first years of school lay the foundations for everything that follows, and our team places each child’s wellbeing, curiosity and learning at the centre of its work.
We provide a stimulating, safe and supportive environment in which young children explore, play, ask questions and grow in confidence. Through close partnership and open communication with families, we come to know every child as an individual and celebrate their progress together.

Our Curriculum
The KG Curriculum
The KG programme follows a rich, language-based curriculum that prepares children for the Cambridge International Primary Programme, which begins in Year 1 and continues to Year 6. Carefully planned activities develop the knowledge, skills and dispositions that young learners need in six areas of early learning:
- Communication, language and literacy
- Personal, social and emotional development
- Problem solving and reasoning
- Creative development
- Physical development
- Knowledge and understanding of the world
