Who We Are
An International Education Anchored in Enduring Values
Brighton International Academy (BIA) is an independent international school located in the Al Mamoura district of Doha, State of Qatar. The Academy is organised around United Kingdom educational standards and delivers the Cambridge International Curriculum, complemented by a rigorous programme of Arabic Language, Islamic Education and Qatar History in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Consistent with its commitment to ethical and spiritual formation, the Academy operates Al Ghars Al Hasan, a dedicated programme that supports the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an and the cultivation of Islamic values. BIA admits boys and girls from KG1 to Year 6 and seeks to provide an inclusive learning community in which every child is known, valued and challenged.

Our Story
History & Accreditation
- Founded in the 2016–17 academic year, Brighton International Academy has developed into a respected educational institution within Qatar’s private school sector.
- The Academy is accredited by Cambridge International.
- BIA is progressing towards full recognition by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Qatar National School Accreditation (QNSA).
Governance
Managing Board
The Board of Trustees oversees the Academy’s policies and strategic decisions and safeguards its vision and mission. Composed of experienced leaders, the Board supports staff in realising the Academy’s academic goals and in sustaining a values-based learning environment.
