We follow the EYFS framework, this is the stage in your child’s life that prepares them for primary school, as well as for their future learning and achievements. The EYFS was created to ensure your child’s Foundation Stage is happy, active, exciting, fun and secure, as well as to support their development, care and learning needs.

In Our School the Foundation Stage begins when your child enters FS1 (3-year-old) until they leave at the end of FS2 (5-year-old.)

Children will be learning skills, acquiring knowledge and demonstrating their understanding through 7 areas of learning and development.

These 7 areas of learning and development shape our educational programme and curriculum. All areas of learning and development are important and related.
